Jeff Hamilton Signature Artist at Innovative Percussion!
Innovative Percussion welcomes Jeff Hamilton to the IP family as a signature artist!
Jeff Hamilton had his first big break in 1974, since then he has performed and recorded with a large amount of musicians. Hamilton has also been a member of many different ensembles, those being: Lionel Hampton’s Band, the Monty Alexander Trio, Woody Herman and the Thundering Herd, the Ray Brown Trio, L.A.4 with Ray Brown, Bud Shank, and Laurindo Almeida, and the Oscar Peterson Quartet w/Herb Ellis and Ray Brown. He has played with performers such as Ella Fitzgerald, the Count Basie Orchestra, Rosemary Clooney, and Monty Alexander. Along with these performances, Jeff Hamilton has been on over 300 recordings.
Designed in conjunction with Jeff Hamilton, Innovative Percussion is excited to release the new JH-1 and the BR-JH. The JH-1 has a unique arrow head shaped bead paired with a short taper at the neck, which makes it great for small to large ensemble settings. The BR-JH is made with a thicker wire which provides a large amount of tensile strength, allowing the brush to have more ‘bounce’ around the kit.
