RMI Record’s Grammy winning Recording Artist, Jeff Hamilton and the “The Jeff Hamilton Trio” releases the ensemble’s first offering on RMI records. After the Grammy nominated album on RMI by “The Clayton-Hamilton” Jazz Orchestra, “And So It Goes”, band leader Jeff Hamilton has brought his famed piano trio to the label, for its first release on RMI. The ensemble is featuring Tokyo based Piano virtuoso Tadataka Unno and longtime trio member, bassist Jon Hamer. Along with his hundreds of recording credits, this is Hamilton’s 24th album as a band leader. The L.A. based musician is one of the living legends of Jazz drums. Jeff and the trio have penned new pieces, as well as, covered some classic compositions on A NEW CHAPTER. As the project title suggests, the new member of Tadataka Unno completes the latest line-up and thus, helps to dictate the future of this infamous group of Artists.
