2016 Oregon Coast Jazz Party

Oregon Coast Council for the Arts celebrates 13 years with the Oregon Coast Jazz Party September 30-October 2 at the Newport Performing Arts Center and at the Shilo Inn Suites Hotel, both in Newport.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2016

10:00 am: Interactive Jazz Panel: OCJP Music Director Holly Hofmann talks about all things JAZZ with Ken Peplowski, Grace Kelly, Akiko Tsuruga and Jeff Hamilton. Panel will take audience questions during the last half of the session.

12:30 pm: Jeff Hamilton’s The Art of the Jazz Trio with Tamir Hendelman (p), and Christoph Luty (b). Jeff discusses and illustrates the role of each player in creating a unique, swinging jazz trio. Presented by Just Jazz.
